With so many wonderful things happening this month, we figured it was the perfect time to announce our new blog. We'll be talking about upcoming holidays, ways to help the community, book recommendations, and of course, new product information and releases.

Valentine's Day
As we all know, Valentine's Day is this month and we are so excited to celebrate it with our friends and family. It's the perfect time to spread kindness and love, not just for one day, but every day! I want to challenge you to do one act of kindness for someone else today. It doesn't have to be anything big or extravagant. It can be as simple as holding the door for someone or paying for the car behind you at the drive through. Just pay attention to how it makes you feel and if you are so inclined, please pass the challenge along.

Year of the Tiger
2022 is the Year of the Tiger and it is all about making big changes. It's a reminder that we should all be out there chasing our dreams and taking risks. Here at Libre Kids Co, we wish you and your family a fulfilling and new experience filled 2022. Don't forget to checkout our new El Tigre tee.
Black History Month
Celebrate Black history all year, not just for one month. February is a great time to support Black-owned shops and creators. Some of our favorites include: Wanda&Co, Sunny & Ted, Kinfolk Dolls and Five Suns to name a few.
Since 1976, every American president has designated February as Black History Month with a specific theme. This year, the theme is "Black Health & Wellness." It celebrates the legacy of Black medical practitioners and scholars in both traditional and nontraditional Western medicine.
I recently came across a quote by the incredible Ella Fitzgerald. It really struck me and helped me remember why I do what I do.
"Just don’t give up what you’re trying to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong."
